It's Sunshine Time!
Hello Sunshine!
Welp! Summer is officially here! I was out running errands today and realized that we have entered the time of year in Houston where you must move quickly from one air conditioned space to another if you want to avoid melting.
Summer is so nice, though. Everything is moving slower and everyone is talking about their upcoming vacations. I love all the fresh ripe fruit and yummy cool drinks. My favorite flowers are in season and are only $5 at HEB. If you're in TX, you've gotta get yourself a bunch! They open up as big as your face. No kidding!
I just wanted to share that I've been writing in a new, very special place on the internet. Substack. If you're not on there, I invite you to check it out. It's a place for creatives of all kinds.
I have known that I am a writer for a long time. Being a big talker and a passionate communicator, of course I'm a writer. But I haven't found my voice anywhere quite like I've found it on Substack.
